In this paper the authors look at the question of what a Lacanian conception of individual psychoanalytic psychodrama adds in the way of theoretical distinctions to account for the specificity of the transference of the leader/psychodrama director and the cotherapists, and above all of the patients, in this setting which is particularly indicated for treating psychotic subjects. We will thus be led to distinguish the notion of play from that of a game, and the analyzing transference from the analyzable transference, while contending that psychoanalytic psychodrama is only a variant of the « standard treatment ». In so doing we will show the role played respectively by the patient's associations, by the interpretation of the analysts (leader and cotherapists) in the role play and lastly by the scansion of the leader. We will conclude with a few hypotheses about the analyst's desire in individual psychoanalytic psychodrama. |
