Titre : Clinical Pilot Study and Computational Modeling of Bitemporal Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation, and Safety of Repeated Courses of Treatment, in Major Depression Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Kerrie-Anne Ho ; Siwei Bai ; Donel Martin Année de publication : 2016 Article en page(s) : p. 226-233 Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : dépression bitemporal sécurité Résumé : This study aimed to examine a bitemporal (BT) transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) electrode montage for the treatment of depression through a clinical pilot study and computational modeling. The safety of repeated courses of stimulation was also examined. Permalink : https://ch-poitiers.fr/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=86993

Titre : Augmenting Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation With D-Cycloserine for Depression: A Pilot study Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Herng-Nieng Chan ; Angelo Alonzo ; Donel Martin Année de publication : 2013 Article en page(s) : p. 196-200 Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : dépression cyclosérine Résumé : Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is a noninvasive brain stimulation technique that causes changes in cortical excitability. Recent double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trials suggest that tDCS may be efficacious in the treatment of depression. Pharmacological agents that prolong the effects of tDCS could lead to greater cumulative changes in cortical excitability, producing greater and more prolonged efficacy.
